Yogurt pots in disguise!

Written by: | Posted on: | Category:

Looking for an easy, inexpensive craft that will keep your kids busy?

Get busy and creative, recycling empty yogurt pots into decorative containers that make great paper clip holders or ornaments.

What you need:

  • Recycled yogurt or similar pot
  • Glue (Top tip: White craft glue dries clear)
  • Materials for decorating pots e.g. recycled wrapping paper, construction paper, bits of fabric, ribbon, kitchen foil, buttons, wool

What to do:

  1. Make sure that your yogurt pot is empty and has been washed out and dried.

  2. Tear or cut pieces of gift wrap, fabric, ribbon etc. and glue them to the pot in any way you like. Make sure you decorate the whole pot. Have fun and be creative!

  3. Let the glue dry.

  4. Display your disguised yogurt pot on a shelf, or, use it as a storage pot for small objects like paper clips and hair elastics.
